Victim was in area to confront student
In a story News 4 told you about on Thursday an adult male was injured near St. Johns High School in the 400 block of Church Avenue yesterday afternoon.
An assault took place that resulted in the adult male sustaining an upper body injury and three youth suffering the effect of being in the area of a pepper spray discharge. All four were taken to hospital.
St.Johns High School was locked down just after the incident occurred for a short period of time.
Police continued to investigate the incident and have determined that the adult male had gone to the area of the school to confront a student. A dispute happened and that is when the man was injured.
Police have arrested a 13 year old male for several weapons related offences and have released him on a promise to appear in court.
