116 new cases of COVID-19 were identified today along with four additional deaths.
The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 3.8 per cent.
Of the cases identified in the province today, 67 are people who have not been vaccinated. 11 have been partially vaccinated and 38 are people who are fully vaccinated
There are 1,153 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 82 people hospitalized. 24 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units
3,656 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,082,323
The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,244.
Outbreaks have been declared at:
- Ecole Sant-Malo School, Cohort 5/6 in St. Malo. The cohort has been moved to remote learning and the school has been moved to the Restricted (Orange) level on the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System; and
- Portage Evangelical Church in Portage la Prairie. The church has been moved to the Critical (Red) level on the #RestartMB Pandemic Response System.
