Manitoba Public Health announced there were 11 new cases of the virus on Tuesday, September 8, 2020. The total number of lab-confirmed cases stands at 1,349.

The five-day test positivity rate in Manitoba is 1.3 per cent

Two new cases in the Southern Health region, one new case in the Interlake-Eastern health region, eight cases in the Winnipeg Health region.

There are 13 people being treated in hospital including three people in intensive care.

There are currently 393 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 940 people listed as recovered.

The number of deaths related to COVID-19 is 16.

1,219 laboratory tests were completed on Monday. According to Manitoba Public Health, the total number of completed tests since early February is 148,537.
