108 new cases of COVID-19 were identified in the province today. No deaths were reported due to the virus.
The five-day test positivity rate is currently 5.7 per cent provincially and 5.7 per cent in Winnipeg.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Manitoba is 36,267
Today’s cases are from the following health regions:
- 12 cases in the Interlake-Eastern health region;
- five cases in the Northern health region;
- 10 cases in the Prairie Mountain Health region;
- 18 cases in the Southern Health–Santé Sud health region; and
- 63 cases in the Winnipeg health region.
There are currently 1,685 active cases of COVID-19 in Manitoba with 33,623 people listed as recovered.
132 people are being treated in the hospital of which 62 are considered infectious. 30 people with the virus are in Intensive Care Units with 15 of them still considered infectious.

2,491 tests were completed yesterday. Since the virus first arrived in February 2020, there have been 624,868 tests completed.
The total number of deaths related to COVID-19 in Manitoba is 959.
An outbreak has been declared at the Dauphin Personal Care Home in Dauphin.
