The Manitoba government announced on Thursday, October 22, 2020, that they are distributing $106 million in federal funding to municipalities under the Safe Restart Agreement.
$72.6 million is going to 137 municipalities on a per-capita basis. Another $33.4 million is going to the five municipalities with eligible public transit systems.
The province says they are notifying the communities of their respective funding amounts today.
