WEATHER | CAUTIONS & CANCELLATIONS ISSUED AS STORM MOVES IN

As the Christmas storm approaches Winnipeg a number of cautions and cancellations have been issued. Environment Canada issued a Winter Storm Warning for all of southern Manitoba calling for hazardous conditions with heavy snow and near zero visibility. Accumulations are expected to be around 30 cm in most areas with 40-50 cm near the U.S. border. Non-essential travel is discouraged as road conditions, especially outside the city will be dangerous. As lightning clears areas, crews will head out.
