Winnipeg Police have busted a 23 year old Quebec man on human trafficking charges. On December 16, 2016, the WPS responded to a downtown hotel, to check the well-being a 23 year old female. Police had received a report that the woman was being held against her will and forced to work as an escort at a number of Winnipeg hotels. Human Trafficking – RCMP say that two men have been charged with human trafficking after an 18 year old Alberta woman was found in a Lloydminster Alberta home. She claimed she was being held against her will and was forced to have sex.  Police arrested one of the men in the area and the other was arrested in Manitoba. Preston Carpenter, 32 from Edmonton, and Cebien Dieujuste, 28 from Montreal are facing numerous charges. The woman was provided medical care and emotional support from victim services.
