11th homicide victim of 2017 identified On Tuesday May 23, 2017 police responded to a call about an injured man in the 300 block of Kennedy Street.  The man had been stabbed in the upper body, was taken to hospital and later died. Winnipeg Police are investigating  a homicide that occurred in the 300 block of Kennedy Street near Qu’Appelle on Tuesday afternoon. A 22 year old male was found by police just after 3:15 pm suffering from an apparent stab wound to the upper body. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but later died of his injuries.
