TWO DEAD AFTER SUV SLAMS INTO TREE

Early Sunday June 18, 2017 a single vehicle collision claimed the life of two people in Portage la Prairie. It happened just before 2:30 am. The SUV was travelling west on Crescent Avenue at what police describe as a “high rate of speed” when it crossed the centre line and struck a tree. The 22 year old female driver and 20 year old female passenger died at the scene.   Just before noon on June 16, 2017 RCMP from Brandon responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10 about a kilometre north of Provincial Road 353. Winnipeg Police and emergency personnel responded to a serious collision at the Perimeter and St. Anne’s Road around 8am Wednesday Sept 7, 2016.
