POLICE STOP VIOLENT DOWNTOWN ROBBERY SPREE

 

 

Two busted in series of violent armed robberies

 

 

 

 

 

Winnipeg police have busted two people in connection to a series of violent armed robberies in the city’s downtown area.

It all began on the afternoon of February 15, 2017 when armed with knives the suspects robbed victims of their personal property.

One of the victims was cut with a knife receiving a laceration and was treated in hospital.

Police spotted the suspects just after 11:00pm that night and took them into custody.

Charged with possess weapon for dangerous purpose, possess prohibited weapon and robbery x 5 for their alleged involvement are Randal Gladue, 28 and Samantha Stevenson, 19.

Both also face charges of drug possession and breaching court conditions.
