On October 2, 2017, at 4:30 pm, the Powerview RCMP received a report of a missing teen from the community. Taya Guimond, 16-years of age, was last seen in Powerview earlier in the day and is now believed to be in Selkirk or Winnipeg.
Guimond is described as Indigenous, 5’3”, heavier build has brown eyes, and straight shoulder length black hair. She is believed to have travelled to the Selkirk or Winnipeg area.The RCMP are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information to call the Powerview RCMP at 204-367-8728.
