RCMP say that three people were stabbed on Friday night, August 10, 2018, at a home in the Highland Drive in the RM of St. Andrews.

When police arrived they saw around 200 people trying to leave the area. Officers were directed to a home and found two male teens aged 16 and 17 had been stabbed. A third 17-year-old male was found inside the home also suffering from a stab wound. All three were taken to hospital but police say the injuries were considered minor in nature.

So many people were in the area say, investigators, because an open invitation to a party was posted to social media. An altercation between two group attending the party resulted in the stabbings.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have seen the fight or taken video or photos of the altercation to contact them at 204-482-1222.
