RCMP say that one of the men involved in a June 29, 2018 rollover on Highway 59 has died of his injuries.
The collision happend just north of Scanterbury. A pickup truck travelling southbound lost control, rolled and landed on its roof in the west ditch. The ditch was full of water at the time and the cab of the truck was fully submerged.
A 35-year-old in the vehicle was able to get out bit the other 41-year-old male had to be pulled out by people who had stopped to help.
Both men were taken to hospital in Winnipeg. The 35 year old was treated and released the other man was in critical condition and passed away on July 8, 2018.
RCMP say that alcohol is a factor in the rollover. Police do not know if seatbelts were in use.
The investigation is ongoing.
