The City of Winnipeg is adding to the tools it provides residents to help them get around the city. On Saturday June 10 around 11:00 pm Winnipeg Police and emergency personnel got a call about a vehicle crash in the area of Courchaine Road and Turnbull Drive.  When they arrived on scene they found a 23 year old man and a 25 year old woman suffering from serious injuries. They were both taken to hospital in critical condition. Although the male remains in critical the female has been upgraded to stable condition according to police. Winnipeg police are investigating a hit and run at Elgin Avenue and Gertie Street. It happened around 1:30 am Saturday June 3, 2017. A 15 year old girl was hit in the incident. Traffic on the Perimeter Highway at Brady road was at a standstill after a delivery truck and a semi slammed into each other. The delivery truck was carrying chemical weed control which prompted fire officials to bring in their haz-mat team. The collision happened around 8:00 am Thursday June 1, 2017. Just before midnight on Wednesday May 24, 2017 RCMP from the St. Pierre-Jolys detachment came across pickup truck in the ditch at Highway 75 and Provincial Road 210.
