Winnipeg’s Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) has arrested a 51-year-old male for trafficking methamphetamine Police say the DEU executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on Thursday, December 13, 2018, on a home in River Park South. The DEU raided the home as the result of an investigation into drug trafficking at the residence.
RCMP in The Pas are investigating after the body was found in the community. Police say that around 7:00 am they responded to Bignell Avenue where they found the body of an adult female. Police in the Southern Manitoba community of Altona says a woman allegedly defrauded CFS system of more than $42,000 over the past nine years. Altona is about 115 kilometres south of Winnipeg.
