A 19-year-old male is facing 17 arson related charges after Winnipeg Police caught him on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, near a fire on Manford Close. Police say the suspect was on a bicycle and matched the description from several witnesses during previous fires. A search of his person found incendiary materials.
River Jacob Parrenas Tavares, from Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with 16 counts of Arson Causing Damage to Property and Possession of Incendiary Material.
